The pencils are sharpened, the laptops are open, and school is back in session. Though it’s time once again to break out your Google Workspace and educate young minds, it’s never a bad time for educators to learn some new tricks too. We have four ways you can sharpen your Google Workspace skills as you dive back into the school year headfirst:

  1. Attend our upcoming webinar “New Ways to Use Google Workspace for Education and One Great Way to Protect It” to learn innovative ways that educators are using Google Workspace in their schools. Register now.
  2. Join Google+ Communities to stay up to date on the latest tips and tricks for Google Workspace. We recommend Google Workspace in Education and Google Workspace Administrators as good places to start.
  3. Attend gCON. Brought to you by the Google Gooru, it’s a completely free online event that gives you the information and training you need to make your day-to-day tasks in Google Workspace easier – whether that means administering a large Google Workspace domain or simply getting more out of Gmail. Be sure to attend our Hangout on Air session “Protecting Google Workspace Data with Cloud-to-Cloud Backup” on September 22nd at 2:00 pm ET; register here.
  4. Attend EDUCAUSE and visit Spanning’s booth (#269) to learn about how to restore lost Gmails, Google Docs, Google Calendar events and more. Set up a meeting in advance here.

These are just a few of the ways you can keep your Google Workspace skills sharp as you once again take on the important job of educating others. Are there any other resources that you recommend? Let us hear about them in the comments below!
