Dreamforce ‘16: Day One
‘Twas the morning of Dreamforce, and all through the cloud
Every admin and dev was thinking aloud,
And hoping their orgs would be okay for a while
They blazed their Trails and did HOTs with a smile.
With apologies to Clement Clarke Moore, the first day of Dreamforce is a time every attending admin and developer knows well. It’s a time when they think about their org back home, hoping to be able to focus on the learning they came for, the Hands-On-Training (HOTs) and Trailhead sessions, knowing they’ll still be called…because who else knows their organization’s instance of Salesforce, and the org’s needs, better than they do?
This year’s Dreamforce brings a special focus on AppExchange Apps, with the 113 “must see” apps as noted on the Salesforce blog. Spanning Backup is delighted to be on that “must see” list. Too few admins and developers know that Salesforce recommends using a third-party app from the AppExchange to backup and enable fast restores for Salesforce data, and we know that admins and developers would rest easier at Dreamforce with that extra layer of data loss protection.
So for all my admin and developer friends at Dreamforce ’16 – look for me at Booth #106, learn about why Salesforce recommends apps like Spanning to protect your data and tell me about what you’ve come to learn at this year’s conference! For those not able to attend Dreamforce, I hope to see you at your User Group meetings this year and next.
Then Marc sprang to the stage with Ohana enshrined;
The admins a-buzz learning Lightning and Einstein,
The developers coding with Apex and more,
On the very first day, on each and every floor.
