Part of Austin Technology Council’s Startup Week, last Thursday’s biannual ATX Startup Crawl was the biggest ever. More than 5,000 tech fanatics registered to check out the over 70 startups that participated in the event.
Nearly 500 of the registered attendees spent their evening at our German-themed Spantöberfest, a celebration of craft beer, sausage, homemade pretzels, and cutting-edge technology right here in the Spanning office in downtown Austin, Texas. Of course, several partners helped to make the event a success and we want to thank each of them!
Guests quaffed countless seasonal and specialty brews courtesy of Junior’s Beer and Wine. And when we were dangerously low in supply (wie schrecklich!) due to the impressive turnout, they came to the rescue with more beer, ruck-zuck!
Ruby’s BBQ provided the perfect pairing for all that beer with a delicious sausage buffet. Four types of wurst made an appearance at Spantöberfest, in addition to authentic soft pretzels, delivered by Easy Tiger Bake Shop and Beer Garden.
When attendees weren’t chowing down or chatting it up at the Spanning headquarters, they were enjoying a game of ping-pong or popping a pose in our interactive photo booth, made possible by ShutterQube.
