Unlike the subjective opinions of individual analysts, the G2 Grid® report offers a democratic and data-driven approach to rating SaaS backup products. The G2 score is calculated using two main components: Satisfaction and Market Presence.
The Satisfaction component includes several factors:

The Market Presence component encompasses:
- The review count specific to the category, weighted similarly to Satisfaction, with a focus on quality, recency and source of the reviews.
- The company’s employee count and revenue, reflecting its size, available resources and financial stability.
- The company’s web presence, indicating its visibility, ranking on search engine result pages and influence in the market.
The G2 Spring 2024 Mid-Market Grid® Report evaluates data points collected from December 2023 to March 2024. This report focuses on mid-market reviews and feedback from customer organizations with 51 to 1,000 employees.
