Webinar: The Importance of Backing Up Your Business in the Cloud

You’ve successfully moved your business to Google Workspace. Gmail, Drive, and Sites have increased the level of collaboration across your company AND you’re saving time and money because you no longer have to manage your IT infrastructure. Google not only manages the hardware and software but they also backup your data for you. And if you should ever lose a file or email, or something should get corrupted, Google will be able to restore that file for you, right? Well won’t they?

The answer, and it surprises many, is NO! Google (and all cloud providers) will protect your data from their mistakes, but not from your own. Which is why you need to backup your business data that lives in the cloud. There are lots of good reasons to do this, and not even a single reason not to.

On Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1pm EDT/10am PDT, Spanning will sponsor and I will participate in a GigaOM Pro webinar titled “Accidents Happen: Backing up your business in the cloud.” Along with GigaOM Pro analysts Davi Ottenheimer, George Crump, and Mark Staimer, we’ll discuss the importance of finding a suitable cloud backup solution as well as what features you might need and how to ensure your data’s security.

Please join us for this educational webinar. You’ll be amazed at the data horror stories some users have experienced and the quality solutions that exist to prevent them from happening. You can register here.
